I have been looking for advise on my golden tipped euonymus. I have recently transplanted 4 plants about 1' tall and about 1' wide. I am not sure about the exact type of euonymus because they were given to me out of a yard. It has been a month since I put them in the ground and I mulched them heavily during the snow storm and now the outside leaves are pale tan and dry. Is this normal for this plant or are they not long for this world. By the by, I planted them with some humus and manure with little dirt mixed in because my yard was muddy at the time I needed to get them in the ground. Please let me know if I killed them or if I can save them!!!!!! Pasturepaws

Did you put the mulch over the top of the plant as well as around the plant and was the manure fresh?
