i have a yucca in my balcony and the lower leaves are starting to get yellow, I would think it´s drying up, but the plant is watered and it ´s not supposed to need too much water in winter, what do you think?

Yuccas need good drainage and will thrive in sun or partial shade. Did you put any broken crocks or gravel in the bottom of the container at planting time?

do you think it may be excess of water? the truth is that it has been raining a lot, maybe too much water for the plant....

possibly, irregular watering can be a problem too...too little water may cause the plant to become stressed and leaves may go yellow and drop.
try to water regularly but not 'over' water...reduce watering in winter but at the same time do not allow the soil to dry out completely or become waterlogged...
